'Simply Shakespeare' is an exciting and magical introduction to Shakespeare and his work. His unique blend of comedy and literature is an ideal introduction to Shakespeare for both infant and primary school children.
Shakespeare is widely associated with academic study and the first impression is often received during GCSE work. 'Simply Shakespeare' has been designed to win children over to Shakespeare at an early age, so when studying the national curriculum, students have already been introduced to Shakespeare correctly.
Aims and objectives
To introduce Shakespeare to infant and primary school children and to make learning fun.
To implement interactive workshops, including fun structured improvisation, ice-breaking games, sword and stage combat.
Introduction to the life and times of William Shakespeare, Elizabethan and Jacobean Theatre.
To leave the children with an enduring impression of fun and magic that Shakespeare undoubtedly provides.
